Tempore Magistri Laurencij Warton maioris Anno regni domine nostre Elizabeth nunc regine et cetera duodecimo /
[In the margin] The eleccion of ye Maiour
Inprimis vpon Setterday beinge the last day of September in the yere aforesaid and ye day of ye eleccion of the Maiour Sheriffe and chaimberlaines et cetera Ia Thomas Dalton maiour and his brethren thaldermen accordinge to the auncyent custome of this towne naimed & appointed to the burgesses for ye eleccion of ye maiour above named Lawrence warton and willam Gee to elect & choose one of them Maiour of whiche two the said thomas Dalton then Maiur thaldermen and burgesses, did elect and choose the said Laurence warton to be Maiour who then presently tooke vpon ye saime office and was sworne for ye dewe & iuste execucion thereof.

Item the saime day and yere ye said Maiour & aldermen accordinge to the tenour puporte & effect of ye chartre graunted to the maiour and burgesses aldermen of the same towne did with one full assent & consent noiate elect & choose the said Laurence warton maiour to be the Quenes Maiestes admirall within ye countie of Kingeston vpon Hull the towne of dripoole & ye precinct of ye saime and throughe owt ye water of Humber for and duringe the tearme of one hole yere who then was sworne for ye dewe execucion of ye saime /

Item the day and yere abovesaid the the said maiour and aldermen accordinge to ye auncyent Liberties and customes of ye said towne named and appointed to ye burgesses afforesaid for ye aldermen william wilson and Iohn Remington of whiche two the said maiour aldermen and burgesses did elect and choose the said william wilson to be an alderman who then presently tooke vpon ye same office and was sworne for the dewe execucion of ye saime

Item the saime day and yere the said Lawrence warton Maiour and thaldermen accordinge to ye auncyent customes & liberties afforesaid named and appointed to ye burgesses afforesaid william Smithe and Iohn Hodgkinson alias Hodgeson for ye eleccion of ye Sheriffe of whiche two the said maiour aldermen and burgesses did then elect and chose the said william Smithe who tooke vpon him the said office and was sworne for ye dewe execucion thereof.

Item the day and yere afforesaid the said Lawrence warton maiour and thaldermen accordinge to the auncient customes and liberties afforesaid did nominate & appointe to ye said burgesses for the ellecion of ye chaimberlaines of ye said towne Edmunde Robertes Iohn mounsey Iohn Logan and christofer May of whiche fower the said maiour aldermen and burgesses did elect and chose Iohn Logan and Iohn Mounsey of whiche who were sworne for the dewe execucion of the saime. The said Iohn Logan beinge elder chaimberlaine /

Item the saime day and yere Thomas Dalton Laite Maiour and the said william wilson were elected to be coroners within the towne and countye of Kingeston vpon Hull who beinge then present tooke vpon the execucion saime office and were sworne for ye dewe execucon thereof.

Md that the Sixteen day of dec November in the yere afforesaid The said Lawrence Warton Maiour of Kingeston vpon Hull and his brethren thaldermen of the saime towne assembled in ther saime towne counsell chaimber in the gwilde hawle of the said towne for Sessing of fines of vnfremen occupyinge the traide of merchandizes with in the said towne did agree order and conclude that Blaise baite for yat he inhabitinge within the said towne and not beinge a burgesse their doithe occupye and vse the traide of marchandize by byinge and Sell of waires within the saime towne contrary the auncient chartres & Laudable ordnances of the saime towne shall pay for a fine to the vse of the Maiour and Burgesses the somme of xs .

Item the saime day and yere the said Maiour and aldermen did assent order and decree that William Malbone offendinge in the saime manner as the said Blaise Baite shoulde pay for a fine for his offence to the vse afforesaid the somme of xls / of whiche somme xxs was forgiven & ye rest paid to ye common officer

Item the day and yere abovesaid the said maiour and aldermen did adiudge and decree That thomas wray for offendinge in manner and forme afforesaid shoulde for the saime offence to ye vse of the said maiour and Burgesses pay the somme of xxs whiche somme the said Thomas wray haithe paid to ye said common officer

Item the said Sixteen day of november it was agreed ordered and concluded T by the said maiour and aldermen That Thomas Lacham for occupyinge the traide of marchandizes in Kingeston vpon Hull afforesaid beinge not Burgesse of the saime towne shoulde pay for a fine for his that offence to the vse of the saime maiour and Burgesses the somme of xxs whiche somme ys paid to ye said common officer to ye said vse.

Item the day and yere afforesaid the said Maiour and aldermen did agree order and adiudge. that Richerd dighton for offendinge in like manner by byinge and sellinge in the said towne word beinge no burgesse of the saime shulde pay for that offence to ye vse of the said maiour and burgesses the somme of xxs whiche somme he haithe paied to ye comon officer to the vse afforesaid.

Item the saime day and yere Edwarde Wilkinson by the said maiour and aldermen for the like offence was assessed and adiudged to pay xxxiijs iiijd whiche somme he then paied to the common officer to the vse afforesaid /
Knight pence dewe to be paid by the inhabitantes of the countye of Kingeston vpon Hull towardes the chairges and expenses of the Burgesses of ye parliament elected & appointed this yere for ye towne of Kingeston vpon Hull / and paid by ye constables of euery towne as folowithe /

Md That the xvjth day of Awguste in the thirteen yere of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Ladye Elizabeth the Quenes moste excellent Maiestie it was ordered and agreed by the said Mr Maiour and aldermen assembled in their counsell howse in the guilde hawle of the said towne. That Pinder a keile man shulde pay for a fine to the vse of the Maiour and burgesses of Kingeston vpon Hull the some of vs for Sellinge of his tourfes before the saime were praised by Mr Maiour
[In the margin] a lease graunted to Mr hilliarde of cloithe hawle & ye Butte crofte
Md that the laste day of September in the yere afforesaid the said maiour and Burgesses with one full assent and consent did Seale with their common Seale and deliver as their dede to xpistofer hilliarde esquire a Lease of the cloithe hawle and of a cloise called the Butte crofte for xxxiiijtie yeares from penthecoste Laste paste for the yerely rent of iijli vjs viijd And the saime xpistofer Hilliarde haithe covenanted to maintein the saime with all reparcions nedefull.

[In the margin] A lease of a docke in ye tripute maid to William smithe and others.
Md that the saime day and yere the said maiour and burgesses with the like consent did Seale with their common Seale and deliver as their dede vnto William Smithe Iohn Mounsey and george Kirkbye and William Iohnson a lease of a docke in the tripute for xxitie yeres ffrom michelmas last past yeldinge and painge therefore yerely the vs at michelmas only
